Is a Personal Chef Right for You?
It’s 5:30. Your client has just called to say he’d be late.
Could you possibly wait? Or your boss has just brought you
the revisions she needs you to make on that project that’s
due tomorrow. You check your watch. Even with your commute,
you could still make it to the gym – if you skip the grocery
store and opt for carryout. You call your husband to let him
know.
Sound like anyone you know?
It’s 5:30. Will you have time to pick up the kids from
soccer practice and piano lessons, get the dry cleaning, go
by the gas station (that little light on your dash has been
on for a while now) – and still get to the grocery store?
What time will it be when you finally get dinner on the
table? Maybe, if you pick up pizza, you can still make it to
the dry cleaner and the gas station, get the kids and eat
before 8:30. When was the last time these children had a
green vegetable, anyway?
Can’t remember?
REWIND:
You smile at your boss and tell her, “No Problem!” You’ll
still have time for the gym, because you know you have a
beautiful piece of fresh fish and a crisp, bright green
salad all prepared and waiting for you at home. All you have
to do is heat the fish and put dinner on the table.
Or, you get in your car, turn on your favorite CD, run your
errands and pick up the kids, secure in the knowledge that
there is a fresh roasted chicken with mashed potatoes, gravy
and a fresh vegetable all ready for you at home. Family
dinner is just waiting for you to heat it up and put it on
the table.
Your day just has just had two extra hours added to it!
That’s what happens when your Personal Chef has been to your
house.
But can I afford it?
Ask yourself these questions.
- How many times per week do we eat out?
- At the end of the week, how much perishable food do
I throw out – because it spoiled in the fridge while my
family and I ate carryout or frozen convenience foods?
- How much time per week do I spend shopping, cooking
and cleaning up?
- If you have been buying commercial frozen prepared
foods, read the labels on the boxes. How many of those
ingredients can you actually pronounce?
Add all this up, and the Personal Chef service is much more
affordable than you might think.
You can come
home every night to a home-cooked meal that has been custom
designed for your tastes, prepared from fresh ingredients
with no fillers, additives or preservatives, that has been
individually packaged and neatly packed into your
refrigerator or freezer for you to enjoy at your leisure.
